Want to get DAZN in Thailand? It will change the way you go about sports. The only issue? That DAZN currently isn’t available in Thailand.
...This is why in this guide, we’ll show you how to get DAZN Thailand to work, whether that’s the most football packed Canadian DAZN, the more fighting sports-focused US DAZN, or the likes of Italian or German DAZN.
And the best thing? That there are only 2-3 steps to do it.
There’s only one way to do it.
By being there virtually...
This is where you may know that a VPN service comes in.
...But if you ever tried a VPN for DAZN, you may also know that they don’t really work.
And that’s because it’s not as simple as just connecting to a DAZN supported region and calling it a day.
That’s because DAZN has measures in place to prevent people from watching.
Why would DAZN have such measures?
As it has to...
DAZN has rights to show the Premier League in Canada, but not around the world. There’s companies around the world that pay to show it too, and sometimes to show it exclusively.
...And it’s not that DAZN doesn’t want to expand, but a lot of the time, there’s contracts already in place, and those contracts need to first expire.
...But the unfortunate result of this is that DAZN Thailand is not a thing and that most VPN services connected to the right regions don’t unblock DAZN either.
And this is where PrivateVPN comes in as a service that focuses on quality rather than quantity, meaning wide support for entertainment platforms, and that’s whether it’s Canadian DAZN, US DAZN, or German/Italian DAZN.
Connect to one of those regions via the PrivateVPN app, and DAZN will think you are in a supported region.
Of course, PrivateVPN comes with a 7-day free trial with no need for a card, so that you can see whether DAZN is for you, without any commitments.
Simply provide your email and password of choice, and you are ready for 7-days.
...But now let’s get into getting a DAZN Thailand account, something that most guides don’t mention.
DAZN has plans to launch worldwide.
That doesn’t mean you will be getting exciting content in Thailand as most regions will be limited to boxing, but it will at least mean that with a VPN, you’ll be able to switch to a different location with ease, to unblock better DAZN.
...Right now though, there is a process to creating a DAZN account because DAZN has geo-blocks on cards. If you want to sign up for the Canadian DAZN, you need a Canadian card, and so on...
A method we know will work for everyone, though?
Creating a DAZN account via either your Android device or iPhone/iPad.
This will require change some things in your app store but will allow to bypass DAZN’s geo-block on cards.
Of course, you can connect to your older iCloud account after this, but it is important you create a new one. If you don’t and were to change the settings of your current one, you would lose everything.
If connected to a VPN, you will see an option to switch the region of your Play Store.
Do it, restart the Play Store, and you should now be able to download DAZN.
...And then, sign up for an account directly from the app, thus bypassing the DAZN card block due to the fact just like Apple, Google has its own payments platform.
DAZN brings new possibilities to watching sports, but at the end of the day, sports are best watched on a big screen.
What are your options when it comes to that?
Not as many as one would think.
Most smart TVs don’t support VPN services. Neither do platforms like Apple TV, Chromecast, or even Roku.
The two best options?
The Fire TV by Amazon is one of the only platforms that supports VPN services, making it the most useful entertainment platform out there.
An HDMI cable for many is the quickest, though. Simply connect your laptop to a TV via HDMI, and turn on DAZN.
If you are planning to use the Fire TV Stick, though, if you just got one, select for your region to be in a DAZN supported region so that you can download DAZN.
If you already have one, here’s how to change your region:
These steps? They will work everywhere.
This guide? The principles of it apply to many other streaming services that are not available in Thailand, that PrivateVPN can unblock, such as Hulu.
But you can see that for yourself when you use the 7-day trial.
