Want to watch Disney Plus in Brazil? It’s coming. Just not for a few months. With this guide, you’ll be able to watch Disney Plus Brazil today.
And there are just 3 steps to doing that.
The main trick to getting Disney Plus to work in Brazil is by making Disney Plus think you are in a supported region.
If it thinks that, it won’t place a geo-block, which is the main reason why you can’t watch Disney Plus in Brazil.
So how do you make Disney Plus in Brazil a thing?
You change your location virtually.
So that you can, for instance, be in the US without being there.
For that, you need a VPN.
VPN services allow you to change your location virtually so that you look like you are somewhere else, without actually being there.
In this case, you need to be connected to any Disney Plus supported regions.
Is that it then?
Not quite.
If you ever tried to unblock any service with a VPN, you know it’s not as simple as connecting to the right country.
That’s because platforms like Disney have measures in place to prevent VPN services from working.
Why?
As they have to.
Mostly because of contract agreements.
And this is where PrivateVPN comes in as a service that focuses on entertainment services.
What does that mean?
That unlike with most VPN services, you won’t get thousands of servers.
...Instead, you will get several hundred servers of quality that unblock all the platforms you want, at speeds that you need.
What does that mean?
It means servers installed on our own hardware when utilizing internet capacity from Tier 1 internet network capacity providers instead of simply using hosting companies that offer something, but don’t tell you that there’s also x amount of companies sharing what you have.
But why don’t you try it out for yourself and decide after? PrivateVPN comes with a 7-day free trial with no need for a card. Simply provide an email address and a password, and that’s it.
When you get it, simply connect to a Disney server, and that’s one of the 3 steps done. Now you need to get an account, and that’s the much harder part of getting Disney Plus in Brazil.
What makes unblocking Disney Plus in Brazil one of the hardest tasks as far as unblocking platforms is the fact that Disney Plus has much less methods of payments available for payment.
For instance, with Hulu, a UK based Revolut card works for creating an account. Traditionally Hulu requires a card issued in the US, but Revolut works with it.
That kind of option is not an option when it comes to Disney, as Disney doesn’t support Revolut cards at all.
Yet, you also need a card issued in the country where you are signing up.
If connected to an Irish Disney, you need an Irish card. When connecting to an American Disney Plus, you need an American card. And the same applies to all the other regions.
The solution?
Well, you can either somehow get a BUNQ account and sign up for the Disney Plus in the Netherlands, or the easiest method is to sign up for Disney Plus via your phone.
You will need to change the region of your app store for that, and we’ll walk through that below.
This method will work because both Google and Apple have their own payment platforms that don’t have the same blocks that the website of Disney has.
When you’ve done that, simply sign up for a Disney Plus account on your phone from the app, and just like that, you are subscribed to Disney Plus in Brazil.
On Apple devices, to get the Disney Plus app, you will need to create a new account, based in a supported region.
To do that, sign out of your iCloud account, and then create a new one set in a supported region.
After you do that, download Disney Plus, and while connected to a VPN, Create a Disney Plus account.
When you have done that, you can sign back into your old account, and everything, including Disney Plus will still be there.
Why do you have to do it this way? As if you were to change the region of your current account, you would lose everything.
Of course, there’s nothing better than watching some classics on a big screen with friends.
To do that, you will need to also apply a few other steps.
Why? As TVs don’t support VPN services.
The quickest method? Connect your laptop to a TV via an HDMI cable.
The most practical method? To get an Amazon Fire TV Stick, which supports VPN services, unlike the likes of Apple TV, Roku, and Chromecast.
If you are about to order an Amazon Fire TV, set it up to be in a supported Disney region.
If you already have it, here’s what you should do:
Really want to have Disney Plus on your Apple TV? There is a way. If you install a VPN on a router. Although we don’t advise on that since most routers just simply cannot handle that.
The best thing about this guide on how to unblock Disney? That these steps will also apply to services like Hulu, DAZN, and many other services that are either blocked or restricted in Brazil.
