Binge-Worthy Netflix Shows to Watch in 2019

Whether a Netflix subscription is worth it or not isn’t determined by how much content is on Netflix but what content is on Netflix. Here are some of the binge-worthy Netflix shows to watch in 2019 that most of are already available allowing you to watch right away, with new to all the mentions coming in 2019. Along with some extras that might or might not be binge-worthy Netflix shows to watch in 2019 depending on how well they are produced.

Money Heist

We started with this show to show you that Netflix doesn’t only engage in American productions.

Money Heist is a Spanish production, that was originally a limited series with 2 seasons but due to how well it performed, of course, it was renewed, for better or for worse.

Maybe you haven’t watched the show prior, but you for sure seen some memes or figures relating to this TV show on the internet. And perhaps you heard of the main song used in the show that has since been released by world’s top best producers/DJ’s.

Sometimes what’s needed is a different mindset. A different location with a different culture can sometimes be just that. Money Heist, as the name suggests, it’s a series based on a heist in Spain. And that might seem like nothing special, but the approach is what makes it much more different than anything. 2 of the current seasons of Money Heist are based on just one heist.

You just about never see series based on such a short amount of time. Money Heist is that series, and even just for that, it’s worth watching. After you watch it, you will see why this limited series is returning in 2019. It’s just one of the best binge-worthy Netflix shows to watch in 2019.

13 Reasons Why

Another series that has 2 seasons perhaps showing that 2 years ago Netflix really made some right calls. This isn’t a show for everyone. It’s also a show that even with its massive popularity got an incredible amount of criticism. Why?

As it contains topics such as rape, self-harm, and bullying. And a suicide scene. Everything that would be considered as sensitive topics. And perhaps that’s why this show gained such popularity, as there aren’t that many shows that highlight these issues.

The story of this TV show is based around the suicide of a girl that leaves 13 tapes. And as the title suggests, the tapes are about the “why.” The story of the show got criticism due to the fact that it was feared that individuals would try to replicate what the main character Hannah Baker did, but in fact, it helped a lot of people due to the fact it allows individuals that bully and aren’t aware of it that they are in fact doing something, to realize what they are doing, and it can help people realize the aftermath of actions with consequences for everyone, which is deeply explored in season 2.

If you are struggling and considering watching this show, perhaps watch it with your parents or a friend. And make sure to check out the site that Netflix made to help people out.

Stranger Things

Yep, another show with currently 2 seasons out. Another hit. Stranger Things was a show that was a success within teens but also incredibly amongst adults due to the fact they can relate a lot to it from the perspective that the main characters are teens that grew up in the 1980s.

This is the only supernatural show on this list, but trust us, if you hate supernatural shows, you will love this one anyway. It’s unlike anything else. The music, the effects, the overall feel, the fact this show allows you to imagine so many aspects of the story versus telling you everything. You will love it.

And we will go right ahead to say that it has the best soundtrack out of all the shows we’ve seen on Netflix.

It’s one of those binge-worthy Netflix shows to watch in 2019 that an entire family full of different interests in TV shows will enjoy!

Power

Power might be the best gangster TV show produced in the 21st century. Starring the likes of Omari Hardwick, 50 Cent, Joseph Sikora, Lela Loren, and Naturi Naughton.

This isn’t one of binge-worthy Netflix shows to watch in 2019 for merely being based on a completely different storyline to the other shows mentioned. No, Power is a show we recommend due to the brilliance in execution as far as NY goes, as far as actors go, and most importantly for the enormous variety of storylines across different characters. Other shows have storylines, but they don’t have as many side stories as this one.

We don’t want to give away spoilers. Just watch the first episode, and you will know why we recommend it. Things like being able to express the real gangster world by not having to satisfy anyone as far as language, nudity, violence, to name a few make this show a far more immersive experience than other shows with a similar topic.

Oh, and it has 5 seasons already with a 6th in the making. Coming soon.

The only problem is that you can’t watch Power on Netflix if you are in the US and many other regions. UK and Ireland are in fact some of the only regions to support it. This has to do due to the fact that Starz, the network that owns the show has right to it in the US, and of course, it makes more money for that network to show it exclusively on their platform, in the US.

But there is a way to watch Power on Netflix in 2019. And we did, in fact, made a post about it before. Whether you want to watch Power or any of the other binge-worthy Netflix shows to watch in 2019 whether on our list or someone else's list, when the content is not available in your country, you have to use a thing called a VPN.

A VPN allows you to change locations virtually. You can be in the US, the UK, or any other location without leaving. And that allows you to watch a show on Netflix even if it’s not available in your location. If you want to watch Power on Netflix outside of the UK, you need to connect to a UK server that supports Netflix. PrivateVPN has working UK servers for instance. All you need to do is to make an account, download our client whether on the Amazon Fire devices or your phones, tablets, or desktop devices, and connect.

The Witcher

This is a show that isn’t out yet, so it’s a risky one to name in this. It could be terrible. However, if there’s one thing we know about The Witcher, it’s that people loved the games and the books. If executed right, the TV show developed by Netflix has a chance to become one of Netflix’s most popular shows out there. The problem is that while the show has potential, this is a show that would have been best made by HBO.

The Witcher is a fantasy drama kind of show starring Henry Cavill, the ex Superman star, as the main character. If you played the games, we don’t need to explain, if you didn’t, to put simply the main character, Geralt, he is a monster hunter, but it’s hard to tell about how the series will look or what it will be about exactly, for now. What is known for sure that this Netflix series will differ tremendously to other Netflix series, and for that, it might be one of the binge-worthy Netflix shows to watch in 2019. We will see.

Why PrivateVPN for Netflix?

Do you want to access Netflix’s full library? Unless you live in the US, you are missing out on most of the content Netflix has to offer. And even if you are in the US, you are still missing out on content. Countries like Sweden still that have significantly less content than the American Netflix still have content that isn’t available on American Netflix. And if you want to get the most out of Netflix, you need access to the most content available.

PrivateVPN? It’s the world’s best VPN for Netflix as named by Comparitech. Poland only has 12% of American Netflix content. What are you paying for if you are in Poland? PrivateVPN will make your Netflix subscription worth it. It’s the only service that fully supports 21 locations.

Binge-Worthy Netflix Shows to Watch in 2019

There are a lot more shows on Netflix worth watching for sure. That would require watching of all of the shows. Not to mention that Netflix keeps adding shows to its libraries.

Is Netflix worth it as far as TV shows go? Yes. Although not in every location, not unless you have a VPN. And PrivateVPN will help with that.

A few more mentions? Riverdale, Suits (requires VPN), The Crown, Mindhunter, NarCos, Ozark, House of Cards, and a lot more, if you can access to more.
