You are in an evil hotel that doesn’t want you to watch what you always watch and want to know how to hack a hotel TV to watch Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, BBC, or whatever it is that you watch?
It’s simple.
It’s also not that simple.
Every hotel is different. They might use a different TV, and they might use different methods of blocking access. And since they went through all this effort, in most cases, it won’t be easy.
The easiest block for a hotel to do is a block of buttons or of accessing specific features.
A hotel might block pressing the button that allows you to open the Netflix app or might hide features that will enable you to switch between apps.
Solution? Factory reset. A factory reset will often eliminate the issue.
How do you do it?
You need to Google it.
There are many TV makers. There are many TV models. To tell you how to factory reset every TV, we would need several months.
Luckily, provided you find out the model of the TV you are using and do a Google search, you will find out how to do it.
However, some hotels take even further steps making it practically impossible to reset a TV.
And that’s a completely ridiculous use of a smart TV. Why waste money on it guys?

Except, if you are in a hotel in a country that does not support a certain app or live in a country that does not support a certain app or service, you might not be able to enjoy all of the features of the Amazon Fire TV Stick. In fact, nobody can enjoy all of its features as every country has a certain limit especially when it comes to content availability. Regardless of whether you use a Fire TV Stick or not.
The difference between the likes of the Fire TV Stick and the likes of Chromecast though? That the Fire TV Stick allows you to solve this problem in order for you to be able to access all of the content you want to access.
Why should you have to fly to Sweden from the US for instance to discover that the Swedish Netflix offers only a portion of the shows and movies available in America and that even though that you hacked the hotel TV, it was all for nothing as you still can’t watch that TV show you wanted to watch?
You could hack a hotel TV to watch to watch Netflix and the likes, but that will just take too much time and research every single time.

To install an app not available in your country, you need to be connected to the Amazon Appstore of that country if that item is not available worldwide. If you want do that, click on Manage Your Content and Devices link we just provided and click on Settings followed by Country Settings and Change. Of course, then, you need to change your location along with your address. It’s the best to use an address generator for that part! Just search for one on Google!
After you do this, the next time you turn your Fire TV Stick, you will be asked to provide your account details, and that’s it. It’s best to stay connected to a VPN while doing this.
To hack a hotel TV or to use a Fire TV Stick? You need to buy the Fire TV Stick, that’s for sure, but once you do, that’s forever. It’s there. It works. All your apps right there. As long as you are connected to Wi-Fi.
